My Story
✨ Chic. Charismatic. Constitutionally Correct. ✨
Born and raised in sunny Los Angeles — Inglewood to be exact — I’ve always been surrounded by the magic of Hollywood. I grew up just minutes from movie studios, often stumbling across sets for major TV shows and films. Watching the magic unfold in real life, I knew as a little girl: I was meant to be an actress. I’ve been saying it ever since — and manifesting it with every breath.
I attended Beverly Hills High School, walking the same halls as classmates like Leighton Meester, Sinqua Walls, and Amber Stevens-West- just to name a few people. But I was never one to ride anyone else’s spotlight — I always knew I’d create my own. My journey took me to the University of Michigan, where I majored in Sociology with a focus on race, class, and gender inequalities, and minored in African American Studies and Spanish. My love for culture, justice, and language only deepened.
I later earned a Master’s in Public Health from Emory University, followed by a Juris Master’s degree from Emory School of Law. I’ve spent most of my professional career working in clinical trials and regulatory affairs — not because it was my dream, but because I had bills to pay. But even while navigating that world, I never lost sight of my true calling.
👑 I’m a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., a Libra sun, Scorpio moon, Libra rising, and a firm believer that beauty, brilliance, and balance can exist in the same body.
My spiritual journey began early. Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to the moon, astrology, crystals, and of course, acting. I’ve been collecting crystals for 30 years and journaling for 25. But everything shifted in 2009 when I lost my mother to breast cancer. Grieving and searching for meaning, I turned to Spirit. I filled my space with crystals, tarot, sage, palo santo, and meditation books. Before long, I began receiving clear messages from my mother, ancestors, and Spirit. That’s when I began truly understanding energy — and myself.
From reading about Wicca, Angels, Tarot, and Universal Laws, to building an ancestor altar and learning to cast intentional spells, I slowly discovered that everything I’d felt for years had a name: I’m a witch.
But not the kind the media shows you.
I’m here to break the stereotype — that witches are spooky, scary, and only white women in black hats and broomsticks. I represent a new archetype:
✨ The Black witch who is spiritual, luxurious, powerful, pretty, and protected.
✨ The witch who lives for glamour, beauty, and the divine feminine.
✨ The witch who practices with sparkle, refinement, and purpose.
I want other women of color to see themselves in this spiritual space — without sacrificing style, softness, or sophistication. I believe in the power of energy, the elegance of ritual, and the magic that lives within all of us. And I’m here to teach you how to tap into it — beautifully.
I’m Elyse Long. Actress. Healer. Glam witch.
And this? This is just the beginning.
